Water Conservation Awareness Program at Seth M R Jaipuria School, Babatpur

"Water is our basic need and we must take all possible precautions to save the water. There is no particular time or place for water saving. We can save water a lot with our efforts and care in our daily life." Chairman of Seth M R Jaipuria Schools Banaras Deepak Kumar Bajaj said all these and many more heart touching messages on the occasion of a 3 day water conservation awareness program done in the school. Under this program, different activities like painting, speech and essay writing competition were organized. On one hand in their paintings, the students presented a poignant view of the drought and some ideas for saving the water for future, on the other hand students talked about preventing misuse of water through their speeches. In the essay writing, the students detailed their views and feelings on life without water. On this occasion, a pledge for water conservation was taken by thousands of Students, Teachers and Staff in a special assembly. Students presented different slogans on water saving through banner and placards. Students were also informed about water harvesting and other global activities in this assembly. While addressing the students, School Principal Sudha Singh said that life of any creature cannot be imagined without water. Among all beings we misuse water the most and only we can conserve water. All people should work hard and work together to save water. On this occasion, directors Manoj Kumar Bajaj, Shyamsunder Bajaj, Anil K Jajodia, Sr Academic Manager Narendra Pandey etc. were present.
