Youth Reporters On Who Should Endorse What

Jennifer Anniston In Washing Powder Ad, Vin Diesel Selling Hatchback Car, Say Youth Reporter

If you woke up with awe and shock to see Pierce Brosnan on your newspaper endorsing a pan masala brand,  let us tell you that it was a well thought out media plan and advertising strategy.  According to ad guru,  Peyush Agarwal,  "global celebrities are always a safer bet." While Bollywood biggies have been ruling the ad space for long,  it is these global faces which attract a lot of advertising revenue.

Global Celebrities Are A Gamble But Can Help Brands
When Hugh Jackman signed up for Micromax mobiles on 2014, everyone thought the strategy would fizzle out in a matter of months.  However,  the company went on to make a turnover of 24 crores that same year.  "Global celebrities have to be big enough to shock you.  Else there is no point.  A Pierce Brosnan would make a much bigger impact than an unknown Hollywood personality"  Agarwal said.

We asked Youth Reporters which celebrity they would want to endorse what Indian brand.

If Pierce Brosnan can endorse pan masala,  then I want Jennifer Anniston to endorse a surf Excel brand.  I think she as the cover will influence  a lot of buyers.
Aditya Mishra,  class XI, Amity International,  New Delhi

I would love to watch Vin Diesel endorse a car brand.  The tagline should be "the fast and furious car of the century"
Ritika Bhasin,  class XII, Bal Bharti School,  Noida

Would love to see Emily Blunt advertise a biscuit brand.  She has the aura to attract a lot of young buyers and the company will go laughing to the banks
Shreya Duttani,  class VIII, Sophia High School

Tom Cruise advertising a TV company is going to be a treat to watch.  I think he has the personality to attract buyers.
Roshni Arora,  class X,  DPS International,  Pune.
