Which Book Character Do You Relate To?

Legendary author Stephen King said that the primary duty of literature is to tell us the truth about ourselves. So we asked a few bookworms to tell us about a literary character they relate most to... Along with a few of our favs... Add yours in the comment section. The best (most original) entry may find a space in the print section. (Pssst... that means no copy+paste!)

I recently read Dan Brown's ‘Origin’, and found the character of Edmond Kirsch quite relatable. I will not be giving any spoilers about the plot, but just say that Edmond’s character is always hunting for greatness, is never satisfied with what he receives and his grandeur vision towers above everything. Despite this he is still humble and has a quirky sense of humour.

Darcy?
Though it doesn’t seem so, but Mr  Darcy’s character from ‘Pride and Prejudice’ is quite relatable. An introvert, he finds it difficult to talk to strangers, which results in him being wrongfully perceived as rude and heartless. As an introvert I relate to Darcy’s struggle to be understood among his peers.

Leo
I find the character of Leonidas Valdez (Leo) from Rick Riordan’s ‘Heroes of Olympus’ series to be quite relatable. He suffers tremendous hardships from early on... blamed for his mother’s death, loathed by his relatives, gets bullied at school. But Leo still manages a great sense of humour and stays happy. Like him, I believe that you decide your happiness.

Harry Potter might as well be my literary doppleganger. Not because of the  magic but because of a few personality traits that we share. We have few friends but we trust them immensely and look out for them. We tend to question things, learn to face peer pressure and the bullies.

Hermione Granger from the harry potter series is whom I am related to as both of us started with no friends because of our attitude but at last the best friends of us were our downright enemy at the first. We do what pleased our teachers and follow the rules but when our friends need us the most we reach any limits to help them.We both don''t like astrology or divination 😊😊😊

Not just in but two! None other than our favourite Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood of Harry Potter series. Because I am a typical bibliophile like Hermione and I cry like her. I''m a bit quite like our sweet Luna, not all the time but when I''m lost in thoughts. I can see myself in them.

Hermione Granger, from the Harry Potter series, is whom I would call my literature twin. I could, very well, be related to her! The kind of attitude she has, the friendship she shows, the kind of helpfulness she does and the love she expresses is the way I would define myself. We follow rules, but at certain times, have the urge to break them. We both share love of reading, too! She could be the only one whom I could relate to!

I think I have Hermione Granger '' s brain and bravery and Katniss Everdeen ''s fire. Though I am quite forgiving unlike katniss.

I always hit on Harry potter . I am literally like him . I get tensed at situations . Like him I too have a thin and skinny face . Then spectacles !! Yeah I too wear spectacles . I too have keen feeling on what is right and wrong . I don''t accept that I have failed very soon . Like that super wizard I stand bravely to face all my obstacles . I will never accept that I have failed .I will try till my life is there in this body .
