Next Gen Will Look At DeMo With Pride: Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley described India's biggest-ever note ban a year ago as a watershed moment in the country's economic history, saying it has provided the next generation with a fair and honest system to live in.

On the eve of the first anniversary of the decision to invalidate 86 per cent of the currency in circulation, Jaitley said the move has met its objective of reducing cash in the economy, ending anonymity of cash, bringing in more individuals in the tax net and and dealing a body blow to black money.

In a 1,843 word blog, 'A Year After Demonetisation', he said that November 8, 2016 "signifies the resolve of this Government to cure the country from 'dreaded disease of black money'."

DEMON HAS BEEN AN EVER DEBATABLE ISSUE. IT WAS A GOOD ATTEMPT BUT COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH WHAT IT SHOULD HAD. THEIR WAS MORE INCONVENIENCE THAN THE BENEFITS. THERE WERE SMALL MISMANAGEMENTS AND ERRORS IN PLANNING AS WELL AS EXECUTION WHICH CREATED A LOT OF PROBLEMS. HAD THEY NOT BEEN, IT MUST HAD ACHIEVED ITS TARGET. GOOD ATTEMPT BUT A MISS!!^^

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8th November 2016 announced the demonetization of all Rs 500 and Rs 1000. Everyone in India is analyzing one question and that is, whether demonetization is successful or not. Different people, different views some calling it very successful and some calling it a complete failure. Here, I will put forward my point of view. There will always be a plus and minus point so, according to me it was success to a certain extent because, we have to understand that

it was done with good intention for the development of our country. If it was not 100% successful it is because lot of officials also indulged in converting black money. There was no full co-operation from all.

Demonitisation was a very good move taken by our honourable primeminister shri Narendra Modi. It helped to make India corruption free, which worked somewhere and somewhere not but although a good response from India. As shri Arun jaitly that it provided a fair system for next generation to live. So a very good thing done by Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
