How PM's Book Helped A Student Fight Depression

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today posted letters written by students in which one of the students thanked the PM for his book, "Exam Warriors", and wrote how the book helped him to fight depression. Today, the Prime Minister in a tweet thanked Anagha and Jayesh, the two children who wrote the letters, saying that he is glad that the book helped the children in preparing for the exams.

In one of the two letters, a class XII student elaborated how the book helped him to come out of depression and fight negative thoughts. "I ordered your written book exam warriors and the changes taken place In my life, I became Stress Free and started to study. Today I am Fresh minded and no negative thought's in brain . Thank you, to save my life (sic)," read the second letter. Earlier this year, the Prime Minister had released a book titled, "Exam Warriors", to help students cope with the board exams. In a second letter, the student praised the Prime Minister for his book, "I never thought a Prime Minister would write a book for children," read the letter.

The idea for the book is believed to have come from Modi himself. He apparently decided to write the book after perceiving a good response to his monthly 'Mann ki Baat' addresses. It was in a 'Mann ki Baat' that the PM addressed the country's 'Exam Warriors', first in 2015, and then again in 2016 and 2017.
