Black Hole Comparison Video Will Blow Your Mind

Just how big can black holes get? This “ mind blowing” video from YouTube user morn1415 will give you some idea, putting their enormity into some kind of perspective...

Just to refresh your memory, A black hole can be simply defined as a portion of space where the gravity is so strong that nothing is able to escape its pull. It is called a black hole as even light gets absorbed into this area. A black hole comes into existence when a star dies. Stars are made out of layers of hydrogen and as it ages, these layers press it into a state of almost nothingness. However, the force of gravity even at these points is quite strong and that results in a black hole.  Astronomers have long known about the class of the largest black holes, which they call "supermassive" black holes. Typically, these black holes, located at the centers of galaxies, have masses ranging between a few million and a few billion times that of our sun.
