60 Shooting Stars Coming Your Way Every Hour

One of the best events of the year, the Arietids meteor shower, is coming your way with 60 shooting stars to witness every hour! Thousands of meteors will jet their way out of the Aries and Perseus constellations in early June.

One's best chances of watching the stream of space rocks will be during the day in the Northern Hemisphere. Most of these will be hidden by the sunlight so waking up before dawn to watch this spectacular event will be one's best bet.

The meteor shower will peak on June 7 and June 8 and will begin to show on the horizon in the east, some 45 minutes before the sunrise.

They event is also known as 'radio shower' due to the high-velocity meteors entering the Earth's atmosphere and ionising the gas around them. Due to this, radio signals start bouncing off, creating whining echoes.

Now that you are wiser, make sure you keep your eyes fixed toward the skies!

People say that if we wish something when we see a shooting star then our wish comes true. I have also seen this in the cartoons but unfortunately I have never got a solid proof as I have never seen a shooting stars. This time I will surely try it out and see if this is true - hope this time it would be successful as 60 stars are on our way...

Well, this is something astounding! I do not believe in the myth that if we wish something when we see a shooting star then our wish comes true as Science has no evidence as far as this myth is concerned. But, as 60 shooting stars are on their way to visit the Blue planet, I hope that at least one in a million wishes come true.
