Former Students Get Nostalgic At Katchup Meet

The annual Katchup Meet, a re-union of ex-students and teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 31, Chandigarh, was organised in the school with a lot of enthusiasm and joviality. The event was graced by vice-principal Sunita Bhama.
This mega event marked the silver jubilee year of the batch of 1994. The prominent ex-KVians who attended the meet included Kamaljit Lamba (batch 1984) District and Session Judge, Bathinda, Vinod Arya (batch 1984), advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Tirlochan Singh (batch 1985) marine engineer, Naveen Sharma (batch 1989) advocate, Sanjay Sharma (1986) principal DPS School and many others.
The former students from different batches attended the meet and relived their childhood school memories with their teachers. Also present on the occasion were 40 ex-teachers (1974 to 2014), Arihant (batch 1997) boxer by profession and Ramandeep Kaur (batch 1999), a school teacher.
The visitors got nostalgic as they toured the classrooms, school canteen, stage area and playground with their childhood friends. They also shared their post-school life achievements with each other.
The ex-teachers also stepped forward to help a needy student who is currently pursuing ECCE and PTE course in Chandigarh. The former students spent a memorable day in school.
