Parental Advice Is Not Pressure

In a small family the parents' life revolves around their children. They try to fulfill their dreams through their children. Most parents are working 14 to 16 hours a day, and feel their child has to be the best!

They want their child to be the best in academics and choose the best profession and live a very successful life.

In a normal family, the children could introspect by regularly asking themselves a few questions:

* Am I putting in enough efforts to produce results that are at par with my capabilities?
* Do I misuse my freedom?
* Do I bond with my parents emotionally to make them understand what's playing on my mind?
* Do I put myself in my parents' shoes to understand their worries and concerns?
* Do I obey their instructions?
* Do I accept situations respectfully and calmly?
* Do I demand undue material pleasures that leads to distraction?

If every question is addressed thoughtfully and supplemented by right actions, I am sure children will not think of parental advice as a pressure!
