Bhavana Asks Why Are Girls Stereotyped?

Why girls are stereotyped as being sensitive, delicate, need to be protected by someone? If the society desires girls to be smart and independent individuals, stop looking at them as a delicate flower which should be handled with care.

Consider them as an individuals. She too has the same talent, dream, desire, etc that boys have. She should be allowed to enjoy priviledges that the opposite gender have. Allow them to fulfill their dreams. Give them their space to grow.

Exactly our society thinks boys to be strong and tough as stones and girls to be soft and polite as flowers. This is because of the past scenario of gender discrimination between boys and girls.

Yes , I do agree with her . Even if they consider girls a delicate flower then they should also look at the hard stem on which the delicate flower is attached to-means that some girls might be delicate ,sensitive but they become strong only after they overcome/face a problem which she cannot face unless and until she is seen as an individual .

Absolutely i agree with her thoughts. In this modern world of urbanisation girls are equal members of the society.Gone are the days when of illiteracy and certain other factors they were behind boys and thus considered inferior. This stereotyped thinking has to be changed if we truly want our country as well as society developed.
