Are you a pushover? Take This Quiz

You don't have be too nice to let others walk over you. Take the following quiz to check if you are doing the same.

We have been taught to be nice to people from a young age. But how nice is too nice, you ask. Are you the type of person who takes a stand easily or surrender easily? No doubt its a good thing to be a nice person but not so nice that you earn the reputation of being a pushover.

Here's your chance to find out if you're a push over or not:

1) Your friends are planing to eat out and as usual, your suggestion is not adhered to.
a) You still go out with them though you feel bad
b) Tell them they should consider your suggestion this time
c) Show them you're offended, lecture them about how selfish they are and storm out

2) Your standing in line for the billing counter at the supermarket and someone cuts in ahead of you.
a) Allow them because you don't want to create a scene
b) Politely remind them that they should stand in the line
c) Give them a peace of your mind for cutting in

3) You find out that one of your friends has spread a rumour about you at school. What do you do?
a) Act like nothing happened though you're angry and hurt
b) You confront the person and ask them to mind their business
c) You declare war and spread malicious gossip about them

4) There's a particular friend, and usually you end up paying on his/her behalf for group outings
a) You feel uncomfortable to broach the topic with the friend, and continue paying quietly
b) Privately ask if he/she is having any financial issues
c) Ask him/her to cough up the cash in front of everyone, so he/she can't go scott free

Scores :

Mostly As: You epitomise being a pushover. Don't be surprised that you end up being victimised by others most of the time because others know that they can treat you like a doormat and get away with it. It's time you make an thorough analysis of your actions and learn to be assertive and take a stand for yourself. Others will treat you, they way you allow them to.

Mostly Bs: Neither a pushover nor a bulldozer. You have the right balance between standing up for yourself and being considerate about others the same time. This way you prevent others from taking advantage of you. Keep it up.

Mostly Cs: You're a bulldozer and a bully. In the quest of standing up for yourself, you don't think twice about others. Taking revenge is your passion. You're the type of person, no one should mess with. And even if someone does, God help them!
