Tiger Shroff Tells Us What It Takes To Perform A Back Flip

Don't try this at home

The Training:
Gymnastic training is the most challenging; physically and mentally. My training involves performing aerial movements. The workout trains me in mobility and agility. The difficulty comes in carrying out the move and planning the landing accurately.

Focus... or fall
What I find specifically challenging are the flips (front, side and back). It’s about moving your body in mid-air in free artistry form. One has to be focussed while executing these movements. If my mind deflects, I can fall. I visualise myself executing it before attempting it. The back layout or back flip can be modified in a way to look like you’re flying. Especially when your hands are spread out and legs point straight. It requires a lot of leg strength and spinal flexibility as I have to rotate my body 360 degrees backwards in the air. To pull off this move, I invest effort in strength training to be able to propel myself in the air.

The key is visualisation
Before performing flips, I try to clear my mind. A faulty landing means injury, which has happened to me in the past. Every injury teaches you what not to do and it’s the only way to grow. I would advise anyone who wishes to practise or learn such flips to only perform them in the presence of a trainer or supervisor as they are extremely tricky and can lead to severe injuries if performed incorrectly.

Don't try this at home without supervision.

Doing a backflip looks simple in movies but now i know that it is really hard and you need so much practice for it.

I''ve watched a video wherein Tiger Shroff explains how to do a backflip. The way he explained it is beautiful. But we need to have someone as a support. It can''t be done alone, especially not in the beginning stages. But I''d love to learn to do a backflip!!

when tiger sir does it, it feels so easy, but when u do it urself, then u come face to face with the reality. in fact, I have tried all the flips(that are commonly known) but the backflip(s) require the most courage, because, while performing a backflip,u can''t see what''s back, but in a front or side flip, we know where we are going, so if you are a beginner, u really need a trainer or a guide.
