Get Rabbits As Pets

Canines make good pets but need space and investment of time from their owners. If you want pets that are fun to keep but are not as demanding as dogs and cats, give a thought about these ‘easy maintenance’ pets.

Rabbit: Cute and cuddly bunnies make wonderful pets, especially if you want a pet to play with minus the hassle of taking it for walks every day. They can be kept in one clean corner of the house (of course, expect them to jump around) and can also be trained to use the litterbox. Plus, you can teach fun plays to rabbits; just make sure you don’t play very loud music while throwing house parties as high decibel sounds are not at all tolerated by bunnies and can even lead to sudden heart attacks and death. Otherwise, they have a long life and can live up to 12 years.

Fish: Okay, you can’t hold a pet fish but that doesn’t mean you will love it any less. Studies have shown that watching fish swim in water (including aquarium) has many health benefits like reduced blood pressure and stress levels. A University of California, Davis, study, also found that fish owners view each other as more patient and compassionate. So what’s holding you back? Buy an aquarium (you get smaller ones too) and bond with colourful fishes.

Birds: They are pretty and they are pretty smart. Birds are inquisitive and have the capacity to learn fast. Their chirping sounds is believed to have good energy for the house and some birds who can sing have the capacity to uplift your mood with their singing. Parakeets or parrots, canary, love birds make good pets for Indian homes. All you need is a cute cage and some info on foods you should feed birds.
