Kollywood commedianne Soori shared a spine-chilling video of his encounter with a 'ghost' on his FB page a few days ago. Soori who was traveling in his car on the Palani-Coimbatore highway captured a one-minute video which he claims is of a 'paranormal creature' that he happened to see.
What's there in the video?
The car approaches a 'headless', saffron-clad sadhu with ash-covered grey legs, right in the middle of the road. Fear grips Soori and his driver, as is palpable in his voice, as the actor asks his driver to turn off the headlights and just drive on — and "run over" the ghostly figure. A few seconds later, a huge thud is heard after which the cabin light of the car is turned on, and the footage shows an orange-coloured object that had settled on the windshield, plucked out as if by magic.
Does it sound sppoky? According to some media reports, one explanation for this encounter is that it was a tarpaulin used to protect goods carried by a lorry or luggage tied up on a bus' carrier.

What Do Our Students Think Of This Tryst?
Somethings are beyond reason and this is one of them. The way Soori's voice was shaking, it was apparent that there was more than what met our eyes. Whether it was a doctored video or not, we don't know and never will. But I do beleive that such creatures exist. I have heard many of my relatives speak about such headless/armless creatures found mainly in the highways.

This is one spooky video and the narration adds to the drama. While I don't believe in ghosts or supernatural, I do believe that somethings don't have any explanation. This is that case for me. I don't think this is a tarpaulin or luggage. At the same time I am not entirely convinced that this is a spirit!

I have heard a lot of these tales coming from highways. In fact on one occasion when we were driving from Shimla To Delhi, my father suddenly stopped the car and switched off the head lights. We sat in total darkness for 15 minutes. Later, dad told us that someone was pulling us behind. It was a very strong magnetic force and he lost control of the car for a couple of minutes. When he looked at the side way mirror, dad saw no vehicle behind us! It was spooky!

I must have been 9 years then. We were driving down from a party venue at 12 am. We had to cover a stretch of 37 kms on the highway to get home. Everything was smooth untill we met a scooterist walking with his vehicle. My father stopped the car and offered to help him. But he kept walking. We thought he was hard of hearing, so we shouted at him. But he just kept looking straight and continued walking. We let him be and drove away. Five kilometres before our home, we saw the same scooterist walking down with his vehicle. This time, Dad didn't drive by. We waited for him to get out of our sight, then we continued our journey.
