Eating Out In Delhi's Satya Niketan

Wood Box Café: The Oreo shake here is so creamy, thick, delicious, irresistible (you get the point). Do not miss out on their Maggi Pizza, it’s something you must try.

Echoes: The amazing hospitality of the differently abled staff is just one of the things we love about this place. If you have made it to the middle of the month with enough savings to get you through the rest, then that is a perfect reason to treat yourself with their amazing Waffles.

Bombay Brunch: Get your fix for chatpata Bambaiya food here. The place is not very fancy but the food is amazing. Share a plate of Sev Puri or gorge on to their cheese Samosa Sandwich. What we wish for right now is a Vada Pao and a Cutting Chai to enjoy in these Delhi winters.

China Bowl: The quiet and soothing décor of the place is a perfect setup for you to ask for a raise in pocket money from your parents, but before you do that order a Manchow Soup. Order Singaporean Style Noodles, Chicken Wonton, Drums of Heaven.

QD’s: 'Best Chicken Tandoori Momos'  is what we think should be their slogan (take that Lajpat Nagar). A generous filling of chicken wrapped in a thin layer of flour and that achary flavour! Apart from the Momos you can try the Chicken Overload Platter, and if you are feeling too lazy to go out, you can get it delivered to your place.

Big Yellow Door: Drown yourself in a pile of Cheesy Baked Nachos and BYD Cheese Bomb Burger, without burning a hole in your pocket.

CAD M CAD B:  Sometimes all you crave for is a thick chocolaty shake, on days like that head to CAD M CAD B. Their CAD Ferrero Shake will take you to dreamy chocolate wonderland, and you should also try their Chocolate Sandwich.

Canteen till I Die: Best of the college canteen brought together, outside the college. This pocket friendly place is for the times when the month is about to end and you don’t have a lot to spend. Order Chandni Chowk to China (Sweet and spicy Chinese Bhel and NOT the film), Egg Bhurji along with a Hot Chocolate and you are sorted!

34, Chowringhee Lane: The most popular roll joint in Satya Niketan, this one is an all-time star. It doesn’t matter what time of the day it is, there is always a little space in the belly and a little money in the pocket for a roll. We recommend the Kali Mirch Chicken Roll with Egg, if you are meat lover or the Chilli Paneer Roll with Mint Mayo for the vegetarian’s.

Muradabadi Biryani Centre: This is a place with a perfect balance of taste and money. Try their Chicken Biryani with Chicken Korma (a chicken overload) that too under Rs 150.

ALFA Kathi Rolls: If you are looking for a new spot for Kathi Rolls other than 34, Chowringhee Lane, then this is our recommendation.

Kev’s Café: Maggi is not food, it is a way of life and this place makes it so nice that you’ll never want to eat anywhere else! With over 24 varieties to choose from, it’s a Maggie paradise. We love the Punajbi Tadka Maggi and the Delhi Dhabha Maggi.
