Simple Decor Ideas For Your Room

De-clutter

If you have a lot of knick-knacks lying around, it is time you got yourself some of those multi-compartment storage boxes. They are extremely popular right now, and are available in a variety of designs and sizes at various stores, and online. If you get pretty, colourful boxes, they can be part of your decor, or else store them under your table or bed, or on top of cupboards.

Make tiny changes

We may not realise this, but even little changes can make a difference. You can change old, metallic doorknobs to colourful acrylic or crystal ones, re-arrange your furniture, add a rug to a room, or even add a new shoe rack or shelf.

Create a tiny personalised nook

If you have a small empty space or balcony, convert it into a cosy, personalised nook. Whether to indulge in a hobby, or for when you need some mulling time alone, this can be your space to escape the mundane. Invest in a mattress, a bean bag, or a plush cushion for seating, and add some fairy lights for ambience. We’re sure it’ll soon be your favourite spot.

Decals

Decals are crazy popular, and come in thousands of different designs. It is the easiest way to add some character to a plain wall, or dimension to your (posterless) bed.

Get some greens

A cute way to add some life to your house, is to invest in some plants. Whether you get multiple and grow them in your balcony, or place single tiny plants around your house, it’ll instantly add some freshness and colour. Plus, if you’re worried about not being able to take care of them, get a low-maintenance succulent instead.
