End The Year On A Good Note

Let’s end the year with hope in our hearts and dreams in our eyes. A great farewell sets the tone for new and positive beginnings. To 2018.

Be thankful for happy moments
Instead of crying over what you did not get, think about what you easily got this year. Make a list of things or moments which made you happier, think about the people who made it happen – your family, friends, pet. Be thankful to all the people who stood behind you in thick and thin.

Plan a vacation
If you do not want to stay at home in the festive season and New Year, take a break and visit a place of your choice. You can also make a surprise visit to your grandparents or your best friend’s home. Welcome the New Year in the company of those who really care for you. This will inculcate positive feelings in you and boost your confidence.

Decorate your house
This will have a good impact on your mind and body. Add more colours to your house by putting bright pictures on the walls. Buy trendy decor items to spruce up your room/house. Surround yourself with things and people who make you happy.

Befriend your enemies
This is the right time to bury your past and start afresh. Do not get involved in any blame game and make peace with people you don’t get along with. If somebody has hurt you, talk to him, find out the reason behind the issue and sort it out.

Learn new things
Ask yourself about skills you lack and what you should do to learn them. If you do not know how to swim, join swimming classes. Do you know cooking? If your answer is ‘no’, go ahead and change it. Explore more.

Chalk out financial plan
Remember that you face money issues due to lack of planning. So, the New Year is the right time to start afresh with your financial planning. Make your own budget for 2018 carefully and stick to it, come what may.
