Why Reading Makes You Sleepy?

Generally when a person is reading, they are in comfortable position, which could be sitting or lying down in a quite place. Often the person reads at the end of the day or after an hectic or energetic activities, which later adds to the state of relaxation and sleepiness. Interesting or engrossing books has the ability to divert the mind from reality and anxieties and deviates our attention from worries like an exam or doctor’s appointment. But alternatively, if the book is boring, the determination to keep reading could be tiring, which could lead to daydreaming and also lead to sleepiness.

If one reads at the end of the day after a busy day, one would undoubtedly doze off. One must succumb to racking one''s brains a little to comprehend what is written in the book. Reading otherwise, in an invigorated spirit, is enjoyable and fun experience.
