Yana: Are Books Better Than Movies?

Novels are almost always better than their movie adaptations. If we take the example of the Harry Potter Series, it's undeniable that the books are far better than the movies. Most of the movies lack details, tell us very less about the wizarding world. 'Films can bring whole words to life, before our eyes, make characters into living, breathing flesh and blood, but books let you LIVE everything.' Books are magic. The reason you should forget about movie magic and get back to the pure magic that lives upon your bookshelves. Because if the movies are good, the books are ALWAYS better.. Watching Movies or Reading Novels: Which one, do you think, is the right pick?

Books are more good than movies because they are understandable

Kaushik Bhaktavatsalam Vidyashram

If we see the movie, we see the image of the revelant characters but reading books enhances the mind to imagine, each of us can have different images of the characters printed in the book

Ananya Bhardwaj Venkateshwar Global School

Books are undoubtedly better than movies. Firstly, because books are detailed. And frankly speaking movies cannot be that detailed as books are because books can be as long as the author wishes but movies have a limited time. The story writers need to compile all the details they have in just one to two hours. Also if someone is imaginative enough he/she can visualize what is written in the story.

Books are the best!!! Movies don''t allow you to visualize your own images instead show it, but my lovely books make me create my world and allow me to think out if the box. It''ll really be exciting. When I read at times I fail to observe my surrounding. If you aren''t a book lover, go pick out yours! You''ll get a great day!!!😘Love my books!

Vidisha DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL

Yeah, books are more better than movies because they give us detailed information and helps us to understand every emotion of writer. We gets more connected to the character in the book by reading about it and we use our own imagination in it.

Sourjyadipta Maity B.D.M.INTERNATIONAL

Books are always better than movies for many reasons. It enables us to imagine and go beyond our minds and it is detailed too. Thinking makes it more awesome and it remains in our mind for a long time.

Suraj Verma RADIANT ACADEMY(NOIDA)

Books are more comfortable zone for understanding than movies. It creates a sensational feeling in the reader whereas movies just give a entertained sense of stories.

VANSHIKA GUPTA BLUE BELLS EAST OF KAILASH

I feel that reading books is better than watching movies as they enhance your brain and help you imagine. In movies you see the characters visually. Books are detailed and explain everything properly whereas movies are not equally detailed and lack proper explanation. So, I prefer books over movies.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

Being a bibliophile, I strongly agree that books are far much better than movies. No doubt, movies are a treat to eyes but books act as food for the soul. Books can go to the deepest extent whereas movies have to be compiled in a certain time limit.

sudharshan.ak CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL DEVASANDRA K R P

I say movies are more better than reading books because reading books are only imaginable but seeing movies is something which it is beyond expectations and imagination.

Darshan Dhabale Shantiniketan Public School , Panvel

I''ll always advice anyone to read books before watching the movies. If you first watch the movie then you won''t feel interested in the book. Moreover, books boost your imagination whereas movies limit you to a certain type of imagination. After the comparison of the both you would realize that movies just show a part of the movie. So, Books are always better than movies.

Rightly said, guys!

Preferring to watch movies because you don''t read novels or because you think movies are better are two different things. If you are a reader but till prefer movies over books, then this article''s for you. People should know about the importance of reading. But if you don''t read and prefer watching movies, then that''s a different thing. I agree with your point, Ved. But personally, I prefer reading.

Dilsher Singh Chatha Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula

Books are much better than movies for sure . They are written with such a rich language and are so pleasant to read that they please the reader from heart.

Prerana S Kulkarni CLARENCE PUBLIC SCHOOL

I believe that reading books is always better than watching movies. When you read a book, you use your own creativity to imagine the scenes of the book, rather than just watching a movie which has been created by someone else. Also, the satisfaction that one feels while reading a book won''t be felt when one watches a movie. Book lovers also tend to be more productive and thoughtful, as they frequently think about the forthcoming events in books. Books let the reader enter a fantasy world.

Yes according to me books are better than movies as they are more detailed, they enhance our vocabulary and they also enhance our imaginative skills. Books allow us to visualize our own images whereas movies are not that detailed. Also the story of the book stays in our mind forever. Movies are also predictable whereas books aren''t. The one who reads books has the curiosity of explore what''s new in the next chapter but in movies we don''t have that curiosity. Therefore books are better.

Advika Devanshi UDGAM SCHOOL

Books are much more better than movies, we can imagine the story at our convenience. That is if we are watching a movie then we know what the characters are like, how the story is developing but while reading it is many times left to the reader to interpret the same. Also, reading enhances vocabulary and makes us feel fresh.

Kirti chauhan CL DAV SR PUBLIC SCH PKL SEC11

According to me, watching movies is a better option because if we watch a movie it remains in our mind for longer time, No doubt reading books will help us in improving our literature but movies is a better option.

Arahaan Jhajharia ANAND NIKETAN - KEY STAGE I

i feel both have there own advantages like books can be more detailed but you can a movie is seen so it is easier to visualize it. Books can explain all the facts in detail in return a movie can make you learn all the facts but in brief. So there is no comparision as they both are totally different and are both good in there own ways.

Ved Mone City Pride School

I feel movies are better but I also accept that books are detailed but when we grow up we have no time to read books and I personally find reading books boring so I prefer movie

Tejaswini Jagatp St.joseph convent school chalisgaon

ya its really true that the books are always good, better and best than movies or anything else.BOOKS ARE ONES BEST FRIENDS.Books provide us with tremendous detailed and finely sketched knowledge our future is based on the books which we read not on the movies we watch

Tanishq Ahuja ST. MARGARET SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Whenever we read a book, our mind enhance it''s imagining power because when we first time see the cover of that book, the image in it sets in our mind and whenever there is an action for that person in the book we create our own scenes with some faces that we see in that book only. so, we ourselves create a movie from a book.

Pranav.G Shisha BEMl public school

Without any doubt, because when movies are scripted to movies they have to shortened to come under a time period therefore books are more detailed. But watching a movie so stoked let''s us understand the story better.

Emonwell Spoderman GLOBAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Movies obviously, Books are in depth detail and allows you to use your imaginations (also its an original story). But where are the emotions? Where are the feels? Where is the thrill? Movies takes first place. Books may give feels. But for movies, you get to see the character express one''s emotions and the soundtracks adding up boosts your feelings for the character. And the suspense, its fun to get jumpscared rather than seeing words.

Tanvi Vaswani Nalanda Public School

It is rightly said that you live the story when you read it. I strongly believe that books are magic and movies cannot take their place because movies show us the imagination of the person who created the movie and when we read a novel we go to a world of OUR own imagination and experience the magic of reading.

ABHIGYAN SINGH Harmony International School , Kharghar

Truly right books are 70% more better than movies they develop our language skills and also concentration.

Ayushi Pandey LILAVATI BAI PODAR (A)-SCRUZ

Of course, reading novels is better. My bibliophilic world began with Harry Potter. I remember reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher''s Stone on my train to Bhubaneshwar. I could not stop reading it. Such is the magic these books create, you see! We read to know we are not alone. A book a day keeps reality away. The movies are very good, no doubt, but the books are special. Taking the Hunger Games and Divergent trilogy into consideration also, I would say the books are much better.

Pradeepaa.L.S VANI VIDYALAYA S.S.S & JR. COLG

Books are Undoubtedly better than movies. Being a book lover I can tell that reading is a pure bliss it is as if you sink into the pages of the book. It lets u put yourself in the character''s shoes and further enjoy the story

Yana Agarwal G.D GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL

Sandhya Srinivas TRIVENI PUBLIC SCHOOL

Books are more better because you will have much detailed things there. The books are more interestin than the movies

Aarthi Srinivasan BHAKTAVATSALAM VIDYASHRAM VI

Yes because movies have 10% of the story but books have 100% of the story

Raghav Chopra GOODLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL(SHALIMAR BAGH

Books are more better tahn movies since they increase our vocabulary, thinking skills and reading books is a good habit

In my opinion both are useful as I always seen the movie because I understand it better in movies. Like someone is reading a book and in some places we are not able to understand in the book then we can watch the movie to understand it clearly

Vijaya Rani The Orbis School

Sometimes movies don''t tell really what happened in the story. But books tell us.
