Yana Agarwal: Would You Rather Be Hated Or Forgotten?

When you die, would you rather be hated or forgotten?Personally, I would rather be hated. If forgotten, what does it indicate? That you existed but never lived? That no one really cared about you? Being forgotten is like you never existed. What's your take?

Wow! This is an amazing question. I too would rather be hated that forgotten. If you are forgotten, it means you never lived life. But if you are hated, it means you stood up for something and actually lived the way you wanted to live, even if what you stood up for, was wrong.

I would rather been hated than forgotten...we should always remember to leave a mark wherever we go...an impression ...good or bad.. if we are forgotten it simply means you never had a life on earth..Being hated is not bad.. at least for a reason you are been remembered...

I''d rather be hated than be forgotten about. If someone is hated, then it is probably because of differences in personality or because of some misunderstanding. If people decide to bury the hatchet and move on, the most hated person can be loved by many later on. On the contrary, if you are forgotten, there is no way people will even think about you. People forget about your very existance, which can be more heartbreaking than a situation where you are hated.

I neither want to be hated nor forgotten. This question is quite interesting, but I can''t choose any of them. I want to be remembered and loved. At the eleventh hour of my life I should be happy and contented about my works. I want to pin my name as a kind person.

According to me, I would prefer to be forgotten than to be hated...At-least the person will not have to show their falseness in front of us..If you are hated just say it boldly and move on... Why to hold a fake representation of care and affection...

Yes I would like to rather be hated rather than being forgotten .

A really good question! I too would rather be hated than forgotten. Because, if you are forgotten your identity perishes. But if I am hated than I would at least be alive in someone''s memories. People would talk about my acts of omissions and commissions and discuss about my beliefs and view points. Therefore it is better to be hated and be forgotten because I want me and my personality to be remembered even after decades of my death.

I would rather be hated cause if your forgotten you never exsited no one knows about you but if your hated people will at least remember you in the name of hate

We must live a life that every one must not forget us. Our death must to be like breaking the hearts of person who liked us.

I''d rather be forgotten. It may be more difficult in the beginning, but it will be a second chance for life. It''ll give a newer perspective on other people. We may know something about others that we didn''t before. We would not have that closeness or trust, but we can give a better perspective for them if they seek someone to tell problems about (as many times telling acquittances about problems is easier than telling those you trust). It is a second chance that not everyone gets.
