Tavisha: What Is Hampering India's Development?

India has not been so developed as we think of. India has so many problems not only political like corruption, being cashless but also many of social problems like illiteracy, poverty etc, but biggest of them is narrow-mindedness of people on the basis of religon, caste, gender, nationality and also Indians belief on so-called religious leaders which are hampering progress of India.

Nowadays people are beliving on so-called religious leaders which are themselves part of some or other bad things or are just for looting people. To get a solution from the government a suitable way is through strikes, for every reason there is a strike or protest.

I think reservation is the biggest brake in development of our society whether its for SC/ST/OBCs. People are like a group of ants following each other without applying their brain and common sense.

People are self-centred thinking of only themselves, like in Jat Aarakshan buses were set on fire, stone hurled and many more. I think Indian government should have some strictness in its laws. The Constitution should be known by every citizen so to avoid protests, murders, discrimination fight for religion between Hindus and Muslims.

We as a citizen should avoid bribery, tax evasion, black money etc. Indian laws should be strict enough that 1 year imprisonment for rule breakers. India can develop only by educating people and not by economic development. Also one important thing that can be implemented is tests for government servants and training about the Constitution and Political Science to be eligible to hold a government office.

What are the other factors hampering development? And do you have any suggestions to overcome them? Let's know in the comment section below.

In my opinion, India''s development is being hampered by its own country men who bring down the status and image of its own country by being an irresponsible citizen.A country is defined by its citizens, who forms the PULSE of development. The countries like USA , China, Japan and so following are characterised by their citizens'' dedication loyalty, patriotism towards their country which makes such countries unexceptional , invincible and also very well developed IN EVERY WAY.
