Saniya T Sandeep: Why Should Women Stay At Home?

They should be allowed to go out for work, to be independent and what not. They should not be restricted in any way just because they are women. Staying at home just for the sake of children without doing what we want should not be acceptable. A women's place is not just at home but also where they want to be. What are your thoughts?

Exactly... time has changed, and now women are no less than men..and no one can restrict them in their way through.

Tanaya Choudhary NEERI Modern School

Well said Yukti! I truly believe that women are made to do great things! Women usually think that why are they cursed with all the problems...may it be pregnancy, menstruation or the emotional feeling of leaving the home after marriage.... They aren''t cursed they are blessed...because the god thinks that they can do a lot of incredible things and therefore he has only trusted them ....so why under the name of god suppress these superwomen?! It''s time to change! Go incredible women...!

Pratyusha Satish Rao NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Women, from the ancient times, they have been considered good to sit at home, cook, make families etc. People kill their girl children just becoz its a girl and she is a burden and they wanted a son. But what they don''t realize is that without women they can never get a son.

Pratyusha Satish Rao NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

People worship devi maa. Is she not a woman? People idolize women like mother teresa. Is she not a woman? Even in mythology, lord vishnu had to become mohini to retrieve the amrut from the asuras. Mahishasur who could only be defeated by a lady was killed by durga maate. God has bestowed us with the power of giving life becoz he knew that women had the capability.

But when a common woman decides to become independent and take up a job, she is hindered by her own family and taunted by the society. Society worships durga maate etc in the temples. But right outside a woman is harassed, whether she is a rich lady or poor.

Pratyusha Satish Rao NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

A great personality who is a woman is appreciated but the same person does not let girls of the family succeed in life. Women are used like toys. Women have the right to step out of the house. Any woman is a form of goddess who has come on earth to improve the society. Infact, it should be made a punishable offence if a girl or a woman is harassed, hindered or forced to do any thing against her will.

Risheek pal School Of India

Womens should be free to go anywhere. It''s good to have feelings for the good sake of children and take care of them. But they shouldn''t be forced to always stay at home 24x7 .Women or any citizen of India have equal rights and everyone is equal before law.

Amrit Jangra BIRLA HIGH SCHOOL-KALYAN

Ofcourse, women should have the freedom to live their own lives, go out of their houses and be independent. There’s no point in restricting women from doing anything. After all, life is possible because of women and they deserve to be free and make their own decisions.
