Sanika Sawarkar: God, Are You There?

Every day, every week, every month, every year I deal with the same dilemma — God exists or not!  I want to find out where is God. Do they have a physical presence? I don’t understand why we go to temples to pray when we believe that god is everywhere and in everyone.

I can understand your curiosity on this topic Sanika! Actually we people believe more on rituals than original power. Something everyone knows is that God have no shape or colour. We people say the beautiful creation of artists and awesome sculptures as God. It''s an appreciation to their creation. So according to me God or the eternal power is just a form of light. We go to temples because, people who assemble there will have positive thoughts and that vibes will help us get some relief!

We also worship great people who passed away as God. Shiva, Baba and some are not God. They were human beings who understood the proper theory of meditation and soul so we worship them as lord. No wonder if we worship Gandhiji as God after some years, because we people blindly believe everything.

When we do proper meditation, not just the wine we learn in classes, but we''ve to find each and every beat inside us. So after that you''ll not ask whether God exists. But going to that stage is the most difficult one. So, have faith on God only then you''ll have fear and you will not indulge in bad activities. Though we are know got is someone or something or the power in the universe of the universe itself, we follow some rituals because our DNA is like that to follow them blindly!

Have faith on him! Attract the universe with positive thoughts! Mend it with science! Read lots of philosophical books and theories then you''ll come up with your own theory for God!

I believe that god dwells in our heart... If we believe that god is with us and if we help other humans then there is no need of going to temples everyday, reciting bhajans to impress god because god love those who love his fellowmen.. If there are bad persons inthe world then there are good persons in the world.Similarly if there are devils in this world then of course there is god in this world...

Temples and all such physical things related to god are built just to retain faith and hope. We hail people in the name of God, that is, we are spreading hope that something good will surely happen, for our skeptic minds ask for logics to quench the thirst. It is that positivity which helps you to accomplish god. Just think of god to be happiness and heartiness. Just consider him your inner god side. Just think that he exists, and he shall surely do. For some God is shapeless, for some a myth.

This is indeed a controversial question Sanika, and i truly agree with hemlatha, she summed up everything. But the point is there is some energy taking care of the world, it might not have a physical form or name but it does exist, and until and unless there are no "andhvishwas" and it is giving the people a sense of security, belief is good!
