Saatvik Sachdeva: How Do You Handle Mean People?

Mean people in general feel small. They may feel ugly, unpopular, stupid or boring, so they kick you down to make them feel bigger in comparison. It also happens that they are rude to people because they see themselves as the victim. They think they have a sad life and feel victimised and vulnerable. Even your happiness and makes them feel jealous. Since they do not find any other way to handle their insecurities, they turn everything you say into a matter of joke.

Do you guys agree with what I have said? How do you handle such people? What do you think about them?

To handle these type of people you have to become like them. You can''t make make any rude person understand by your politeness. You have to act like them to make them realize that what is their mistake.

Best way is to ignore them. Why accept so much negativity in your life? And karma will hit them back.

They can seem so annoying at times. But it doesn''t hurt to show a little kindness their way. Maybe they just need someone to confide in, to understand the pains they are going through.

Mean people need what I call ''meany treatment''. Speak to them on their faces. If you can''t speak to them, text them on WhatsApp or Facebook. Just make sure your point gets straight into their head.

I dont think any importance should be given to such harassing statements.

Mean people are simply envious about your possession...They do not deserve so much importance, though! The best way to handle mean people is to just stay unbiased. Things get better at it''s own place!!

If one is mean for a good cause , definitely it''s great .

Ritvik Baweja Bal Bharati Public School

These mean people are definitely proving a bane for our society, to curb these people and bring them to the right path we should make them understand that they are not alone in the race . We should understand their perspective and sympathize with them.

T. Sree Alekhya SENTIA GLOBAL SCHOOL

I think we must first try to talk to them politely........try understanding them. Still...if they don''t listen then the right thing to do is to "be mean". If you can''t be mean, then think over these lines "Every action has an opposite and equal reaction"....it really helps when we talk on their face.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

Well, I don''t think that any importance should be given to such people. If one will listen to them, then one will pick-up negative thoughts which will ruin his/her important work. So, it''s better to ignore them.

Sarath Kumar RM Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

We have to speak always with them with a smile Which will make them feel happy.

Yashita Nagpal BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

At times, people do not understand even themselves and this may lead to feelings like this. We must try to understand their situations and then deal with them because nobody was born selfish and who will not like to be popular in this world ?

Aditya.Chandere VIDYA VALLEY

we should just ignore them or try to control them.

i will show a big smile to the person and that will make the person absolutely fine.
