Panchami: Is Bollywood Important To Us?

Bollywood is definitely one of the most glamorous industries of India but look at the side effects what Bollywood creates. Young kids are getting influenced by bollywood actor and actresses.

Most of the kids want to be like them and try to behave like them. Bollywood maybe very dear to people but people are living in a fake realtity. People are wasting their time trying to imitate people behind the scenes.

The mass media has lost its meaning and spends most of it time trying to interfere in the celebrities personal life and start gossips. Can bollywood really prove fruitful to us? But we must not ignore the amount of talented people Bollywood produces. Bollywood upholds our culture to some extent. So after seeing both the sides of the coin, what do you think? Do you feel Bollywood is very important to us ?

This is a very interesting question. Comparing the old and current generation, today Bollywood has become a platform for actors to basically make money by showcasing many things which are inappropriate. The industry has become superfluously extravagant. Award shows are held every 3rd week. All this lavishness is not required. A few select Bollywood films are very inspiring and teach us moral values, though. Bollywood''s main purpose is entertainment for the masses, that''s it.

Well, yes Bollywood is laying an indelible impact on the impressionistic minds of children especially teenagers. Today, the children are trying to inculcate values derived from films. That''s something unethical.

Yes bollywood in past was fruitful as it had simple and interesting stories and mostly with morals. But now there''s a drastic change in the ways films are presented nowadays. Usually children try to imitate the actors and are willing to become the same. There''s no story left in the films except for a few. They just want to earn money by making any kind of film which are as often as not unprincipled.

It is indeed an interesting question. We usually forget that the bollywood is only an industry for entertainment, the purpose same as other industries: to make money. It is definitely not the industry''s fault if people are trying to imitate actors. Yes, bollywood is important for us because for them it is their livelihood and also because it showcases true talent of the art of theatre and acting in our country.

Yes, I feel Bollywood is important in today''s world as it invigorates our mind from our hectic studies. Some Bollywood are also inspiring and we learn some values from it.
