Muskaan Bhatia: Who Shall We Blame For Our Poor Health?

It’s a fact that we cannot beat the stamina our parents or grandparents used to have at our age. The health problems the teenagers face at this age were unknown to our previous generations. So, who is responsible for our bad shape — technology to which we are addicted (and for which we even put our exercise on hold), or adulterated food which is adding to our poor health.

We cannot blame anyone else for our poor health, for it is we who are getting addicted to junk food even though knowing its ill effects.

Nishi Upadhyay BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

It is us who are to be blamed.

Radhika Ghildiyal BGS National Public School

We, as humans, cannot control ourselves at all. I think it is our fault that most of the people have ended up like this, because, we humans are the ones who have been making all these advanced technologies and adulterated food which is affecting our health immensely.

DIWANSHI SHETIJA BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

I think one should blame himself for poor health as a person individually is responsible for it.No one ever forces to eat unhealthy food.

Abhijit Das Sumermal Jain Public School

Junk food contain micro type amounts of poison and probably should be controlled by the government that''s how it works.

Radhika Ghildiyal BGS National Public School

We humans find it very difficult to control ourselves. But, I would like to say that it is completely our fault because we are the ones who have been inventing all these advanced technologies and manufacturing these adulterated food.

Khushi Sharma BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

The reason behind our poor health is nodoby else but we ourselves! Its upto us that whether we nourish ourselves or let our health demolish. It''s our food choices and diet which makes us so.

Khushii .D.J NSN Memorial School

Even though many doctors and experts advise us not to eat junk food we never follow them. Its always like " we are eating only once in a while nothing is going to happen". We should control this feeling so that we stay healthy and fit.

Darshil Shah ST. XAVIERS - LOYOLLA -2 LOYOLLA 2

We should have control in ourselves and refrain from eating junk food. You can surely eat but once in a month. I myself is very addicted to junk food and can''t live without it.

Jeffrey okeke KAUSHALAYA WORLD SCH.GR.NOIDA

If we eat junk food a lot which makes us get cavity, diabetes and obesity. Other people cannot be blamed for our decision. It is better to control our dairy balanced diet.'' Others cannot be blamed until and unless, they tell us to.

Sukhpreet Kaur Grewal ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN

I think adulterated food is the problem.....and sometimes it is we who are to be blamed because of our bad eating habits.....because no one''s persuading or compelling us to eat junk food , it is we who are addicted to it......

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

It''s only "we" who can be blamed for our poor health. "Anything in excess is harmful", a saying we all are familiar with. Gone are the days, when people loved to eat home-cooked food. But, today, all of us have become addicted to junk food. It''s time to dump the junk. We need to control our temptation towards such unhealthy food.

Vishakha Bhalla BOSCO SR.SEC.SCHOOL( PASCHIM VIHAR)

We are just children who despite knowing ill-effects of junk food, consume them recklessly and do not even bother to stand up and go for a walk then to compensate for the increased amounts of calories. We are so engrossed under tempting tabs, mobiles and laptops that we can''t spare few minutes to exercise.

indhuja.r Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School - Puducherry

who else? it''s definately us.we are the ones to be blamed.we opted for the junk foods.now we must suffer.unless one really understands the harmfullness of junk foods one can never give up..

Mansi Borade PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD

IF WE KNOW TO CONTROL OUR SELF THEN WE CAN COME TO NOW THAT HOW MUCH WE CAN CONTROL OTHERS ANGER.

Mansi Borade PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD

FIRST WE SHOULD SEE OUR-SELF THEN GIVE ADVICE TO OTHERS...

Yashita Nagpal BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

We cannot blame a particular person for our poor health because it is due to our lifestyle which is adopted by us watching our elders do that. Also, western culture haas been imprinted in our minds and we follow it without pondering about what will be the consequences.

Brenda Marshal PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD
