Mariam: Can We Restrict Phone Usage?

The use of gadgets is making life more comfortable for us, but it is destroying our health too. Children play games at home and avoid going outdoors to play; this is making them lazy and on top of that obese.  Many health problems are associated with excessive usage of phones. If a person does not work physically then his body becomes useless.  This is why I would propose that you balance out on the use of smartphones. What say?

Of course, a balanced and judicial use of smartphones is the need of the hour. Excess usage of smartphones has reduced our physical activity, leading to many diseases. If usage of smartphones is lessened, it will have great benefit on the human population.

Hemalatha.G Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary Scho

Every thing above aa limit is dangerous. Usage of smart phones is not a bane. But we should not encourage that alone. It also cause many problems. This creates a war between the reel world and the real world. So we can control the usage of phones.

TANISHKA SINGH CMA, Ankleshwar

Phone usage can be restricted at only some ages of life like the negative use of mobiles in the classes 10th,11th and 12th. Mobile phones also take away the interest of studies from the students. But mobile phones can also be useful at some places of time like calling anyone immediately for some purposes. They can also be used for searching the word for the ones who do not have dictionary at home or have lost it recently.

It is hard to reduce the use of usage of phone. It also causes certain disorders and diseases for humans . Not only for it affects the animals and birds . Due to its usage the signals the sparrows have been become extinct.

Ananya Singh Harmony International School , Kharghar

We can''t totally restrict the usage of the mobile phones but can put a system that doesn''t allow us to use it more than 1-2 hours.

Manpreet Kaur Faith Academy

Yes, in today''s day and age one cannot imagine life without gadgets especially smartphones which have made calendars, alarm clocks, watches and calculators and even books go endangered. We are becoming more dependent on gadgets. Instead of memorising cell phone numbers, birthdays, important events, we rely upon cell phone to do the job. We are forgetting that the same technology is destroying us bit by bit, it is affecting our mental as well as our physical health.

R.Suman Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

We can''t stop usage of phones then it may cause a great depression for Human'' s

D. R. SriReghan Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Yep... But we just cant restrict phone usage. We need to note one point that mobile is the one that extended our communication to its full extent. Usage of phones should definitely be reduced.. We can use phones to a certain extent but when it crosses its limit it requires alarming proportion...

Ronit.R National Hill View Public School

I feel that the judiciary in fact can do nothing to prevent the use of smartphones .As every form of technology has a flip side to it we aare the only one''s who can limit the usage of our smartphones

Snehil Chaturvedi City Montessori School Phase II, Gomtinagar

There should be nothing above limits, In our the most important thing is a mobile phone we can''t live without it, but it is not good the excess use of mobile phones.

Saud Mohammad Hussain Jamia senior secondary school, jamia nagar, okhla

Indeed the smartphones had made our life easy but the excessive use of it has caused irruption in daily schedule and affects health and increases mental instability,it will be boon only if it is used judiously or else it will be a curse on human kind

Neehal Sharrma THE BISHOPS SCHOOL

While opinions differ from person to person, a general consensus is that mobile phones must be regulated, especially among children. Due to early exposure, children are ignorant of the joys of the outdoors, spending hours cooped up in their rooms, which impacts their health. Parents must be vigilant and prevent their children from this, instead encouraging them to cultivate hobbies and things that will be conducive to their imagination.

Ritvik Baweja BAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (PITAM PUR

yes we can surely reduce phone usage

R.Nidharshana KENSRI ACDEMY OF EXCELLENCEMARIANAP

There should be limit for everything

Riya Gupta Ryan International School

Yes, we can restrict phone usage because determination is what all you need to avoid something.

Sherwin Benjamin.C ZION MATRICULATION CH

The over usage of smartphones is a big issue, but I think we should not deal with it judicially, it should be addressed morally by discussion and advising the young generation, A law of any sort regarding the usage of smartphone would be a breach of an individual''s privacy and his rights.

ABHIGYAN SINGH Harmony International School , Kharghar

yes

Darshan Dhabale Shantiniketan Public School , Panvel

Actually, I believe its our own will. No one can pass any laws against the use of smartphones, and even if the laws are passed then there must be a strongly established system to implement those laws, hoe would the system know if someone is overusing the technology. This restriction is only possible at the personal level and not above that.

Yaswanth Gaddam Nirmala English Medium High School

I will agree with you.Now-A-Days it is usually having WI-FI at homes and having unlimted data in phones makes students to using phone a lot.Using these data we are playing games and social media a lot. It''s better to restrict our phone usage and concentrate on studies and develop physically.

TANISHKA SINGH CMA, Ankleshwar

one more point for which mobile phones should be restricted is that the plastic waste of mobile phones too destroy the environment and create pollution while snatching the study interests from the students specially at the age of 14 to 20.

Vidisha DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL

Yes phone usage should be restricted and phone using tume should be set for children because its excess use it leading them to their doom

Aakash Dwivedi Delhi Public School Bangalore East

The world is advancing rapidly in technology, and some things we cannot be controled and banned. We can not ban smartphones, people will be unemployed it will be like the scandal way back in the 80s when the textile factories were closed in mumbai and kanpur. History will repeat itself and there will be scandals in the trade union and riots will occur. this would be a very bad move. we can ofcourse ban inappropriate apps and websites.

Vijaya Rani The Orbis School

Of course why not. But people will not leave their phones.I think because of the growing technology of phones the are becoming more addictive to it. Phone are sometimes dangerous too! They may cause eyes problems.
