Hemalatha.G: Will Tech Replace Teachers?

The evolution of technology has brought innumerable changes to the world, but will it ever replace teachers?  This question often creates a debate between me and my acquaintances. Considering that we have made machines do all our work, we should expect them to teach us too. What do you think of that? Will it really ever happen? What'll be your reaction if it happens?

I honestly feel that technology will replace teachers in the next two or three decades .Virtual Reality not only facilitates better understanding of topics by visuals ,it also helps us experience the things which we learn in real life such as the Greek civilization or the French Revolution and thus helping make topics more interesting and less cumbersome

S.Shruthi Amrita Vidyalayam -Nesapakkam

Robots can never ever replace teachers because they understand us and also understand the differences amongst us.Robots only perform what the are programmed to and don''t think twice. How much ever technology advances ordinary homosapiens cannot create teachers.

As our technology is developing day by day,it may happen! But,technology cannot replace a TEACHER! It is not possible.

Aishwarya Iyer Deens Academy

it is a possibilty, considering all the rapid technological advancements, however, I feel, a good, knowledgeable teacher is irreplacable. many a times, I feel that, while google can give you most answers, there''s always chunks of information that needs to be filtered, the exact, precise and correct answers that the teacher can usually, immediately give you and clear your doubts, is something i believe, tech cannot do.

This can be done in the future years

As per my opinion, this should not happen because if it does, students will have boring classes without any humor which can be created only by human teachers. Students will not have any fun any learning because the machine teachers will teach only the lessons which are input in them. The students will receive answers to their doubts, but if they are not able to understand the formal language in which their doubts are being clarified, then they would not be able to clarify their doubts ever.

Teaching is not a profession, it''s a passion and machines don''t have passions.

A techer is a teacher she or he cannot be replaced by a bot. They may br useful for the industry work but cannot teach life skills

YES,IT WOULD HAPPEN IN FUTURE BUT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE AND THAT IS THE CHANGE IN "THE CONCEPT OF SCHOOLING".THE STUDENT WOULD NOT NEED TO LEARN IN THE UNIVERSITY.IT WOULD ALL DONE WITH THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE THROUGH DIRECT CONNECTION TO BRAIN.

V.A.Tanmai PBDAV MODEL SCHOOL

teachers provide pastoral care, direct the Christmas play, recognise and assist vulnerable pupils, cover break-time duty, mentor new teachers, collate data about pupils’ attendance and behaviour, mark homework, rig lights and dress sets for school performance, prevent guidelines etc.this list is incomplete and already sounds like a lot for a piece of technology to cover.so i don''t think techs can replace teachers..

No ,technology cannot replace teachers as the understanding of lessons that students get from teachers cannot be taught to the students by technology. Teachers teach affectionately and the love they give while teaching cannot be given by technology. Teachers not only teach the syllabus but also impart good moral manners in students and inspire them to reach to their goals. They acknowledge the child''s weaknesses and helps him to overcome it. Hence, technology can not do the same as teachers.

I too honestly feel that tech might replace teachers in the upcoming generations. But it''s very unruly to have machines teaching because then it may affect a child''s communication skills. The interactive sessions in the classroom improves a child''s imagination, thinking ability, ability to express their point of view etc. And I strongly feel that machines can''t do anything like that.

Robots can no doubt replace teachers but can the warmth, care and affection of a teacher can never be replaced by a robot.Robots can develop our future but teachers can support us. They make us a human being for a better world.

Hardik Agarwal BGS National Public School

It is surely a threat to the teaching indrustry, but there will never be a robot that can have all the qualities of a teacher.

In case if tech replace teacher we all will go in wrong direction because there is no one to correct us robots will just explain and go.

Technology Will Not Replace Teachers. There is an onslaught of technology on the modern classroom. Teachers, administrators, parents, and students alike are being told that technology is the whetstone with which we can all sharpen our education system. Technology can open doors, expand minds, and change the world.

Prathamesh Kandale HILLGREEN SCHOOL

what a good teacher teaches us are recalled from their past knowledge and experience which robos can never do in their battery life

Poonam Wadehra MAYOOR SCHOOL(NOIDA)

Tech will never be able to replace teachers. Technology can''t empathesise with students or listen to students'' needs. It can only give out the information fed in its software. It can''t solve the daily challenges faced by the students.

Jayasakthi.R Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Never can it happen.if it happens so the effect of education will surely not be fruitful.

Shamika Nayak St.Xavier's icse

However technological we become I feel no technology or computer can take the place of a teacher.Teachers are present at every stage of life, be it our parents or school teachers , all teach us a lot of morals and more of all they instill in us values which no device can teach us.
