Diwanshi Shetija: Why People Are Double-faced?

We teenagers are always wary of double-faced traits people, but it’s hard to completely shun them because in the first place, it’s tough to spot them. You don’t know who is what!

I spend a lot of time to muse over this topic, but I am never really able to find the right answers. I just don’t get it why people appreciate you on your face when in reality they don’t hold the same opinion about you.

It’s perfectly fine to not like someone, or not approve of their choices, but we just don’t get it, do we?

People are double-faced because of few consequences. The thing is they don''t wanted to mingle with the particular person but they just treat them well for their future uses.

Ananya Rai Kendriya Vidayalaya 1 AFS

People are usually double face because most of us are afraid to criticise somebody on their faces assuming that they will hold a grudge against us if they don''t like our opinion. This double-faced personality is a very common phenomenon in today''s world as we all want to be on good sides of everybody around us.

7 billion people,14 billion faces. Well, the prime reason behind this is that nowadays people don''t want to share their actual thoughts and feelings with others because the society believes in preaching, musing and publicising the problems of a victim rather than actually helping them.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

"First impression is the last impression", a phrase we all are familiar with. This impression makes us display two contrasting personalities in different situations. A person called "thali ka baingan" shifts loyalties as it suits him and cannot be trusted. Such people are of crafty nature and can stoop to any level to benefit themselves.

Most of the people are double faced due to their enmity towards a person or to withstand the character of the person. So I think people must act only in a right way though the others differ in their values.

Shruti Singh Ryan International School

people may be double faced just because to take the maximum benefit from a certain circumstance. it''s simply because of sometimes we are not able to judge to whom we should recommend for our problems ,which is a consequence of people being double faced and it''s even a human nature to make everyone happy with our personality which forces us to be double faced. but guys now let''s be REAL.

Coward people do this for their benefit or to turn something in their favor.

Vishnu Varthan J Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Some are double faced its just because of their mind, they want to live according to mind but the society will never accept the mind face so they will act with another face in the society. Such thing pushes towards double face and it may be good or bad. They are called as double face because they want to open their small mind.

Nishi Upadhyay BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

People are double-faced because it is human nature and something innate.

Well said Devanshi Shetija. I think I have the perfect answer for you as per my view : Ask the same question to yourself. Why are you, Devanshi, a double- faced person because you know, you indeed are one. So am I. So is everyone here. All of us here have this one thing in common: Being Cruel and Being Double Faced so lets go ahead and ask ourselves that question first. Agree or not?

DIWANSHI SHETIJA BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

Dear SHRAVANI JADHAV let me tell you something that if everyone was double-faced in this world(including ME and YOU) then words like saints and honesty would not have existed in English dictionary. and if this is your mindset then better watch out that you are surrounded by many of them. And by the way I don''t agree with your thoughts.

Sachika Lala BGS National Public School

People are mostly double-faced so that they can take the advantage of people. They feel very insecure and unsafe. It might also be so because people do not want to break their long-old friendship with a few people whom they do not like now or are not free to share their thoughts and views.

Shravani Jadhav SADHU VASWANI INTL SCHL

DEVANSHI SHETIJA I agree upon the saints thing with u dear but let''s talk about US , you and I. Lets get real : HAVE YOU NEVER BEFORE IN A MILLION YEARS ACTED LIKE A DOUBLE FACED PERSON ? No sugar coats please Ps. I never asked u to agree with my thoughts n I also think u think I used a tone but I totally didn''t so chill...

Shravani Jadhav SADHU VASWANI INTL SCHL
