Darshil Shah: Will Black Money Now Vanish?

On 8 November, 2016 at 8 PM, our Prime Minister addressed the country.  In his address, he announced that the currency notes of 500 and 1000 will be banned, and they will be replaced with two new notes.  This reform just shook the country.  People who have black money were not able to sleep the full night.  This policy is intended to eradicate black money from our nation, but will this really serve the purpose.

Yes for sure it will be effective in curbing black money. But it is only possible when each and every citizen supports the PM,

rithik prasad PALLAVI MODEL SCHOOL

yes why not as prime minster modi has changed the 500 rs notes and there is no more 1000 rs notes as they are banned so the old notes which is not original will be no use this way the black money will be covered

BHUVANA.V Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School - Puducherry

Yes I would believe so. Atleast it will be an initiative to eradicate black money. And we must also cooperate and join hands with our government to eradicate black money from our nation.

Harini.V Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

It can eradicate black money only to some extent for now. The money which is saved in Swiss bank and as investments in foreign countries cannot be redeemed. But since nanotechnology is used in new notes, it would be difficult for the people to have black money in future.

KAVYASRI R M Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Indeed,It will. This move by PM will eradicate the black money and will further help in reducing the poverty level. As responsible citizens we should support this decision despite the chaos.

Bhavana Jaison Atomic Energy Central School No 2

Yes , off course .

Mansi Borade PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD

Yes !!!!!!!!! off-course why not, after this announcement that money is changed from one village the news came that some one burn the money as if they are burning the waste garbage. The one who is having black-money they are feared that were to keep this much money or what to do with it.So we can understand with this how it got used.

Mansi Borade PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD

Yes!!!!!!!

Shashwat Gupta Delhi PublicSchool indiranagar

Yes for sure, this particular idea has been thought over and discussed secretively within the government officials and the PM.Since a long time we were under the idea that black money will never be eradicated from our roots. i whole heartedly support this idea..

Payal Taparia BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

YES!! this move will help in curbing black money. If every citizen of the nation will take a pledge to support our government and join hands to fight against the "disease".

Shankhanil Paul ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN

It will curb black money by will no be do it fully. Buy the step will have a very big impact on those who have black money in huge amount.

Mahak Goyal SALWAN PUBLIC SCHOOL(RAJINDER NAGAR

Yes. As most of the black money is stored in the bundles of high denominated currency. This is therefore useful as the people who haven''t declared their black money under Income Declaration Scheme by Government, there money would be of no use unless they exchange it with the new notes. And when they would do that it would lead to the recovery of economy as intended by the government

Radhika Ghildiyal BGS National Public School

This definitely is a historic and terrific move taken by our honorable PM. This certainly is going to make a major difference in India''s economy rate too.

Harshit. Sanaala Siddhartha Public School,Boduppal

yes man

Nishi Upadhyay BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

yes .

Masoom Grover BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

If the things go on as expected by the Prime Minister, the black money will certainly vanish. People''s participation is all that a leader needs to accomplish any task even if it is as small as a nut or as big as a rock.

Atharva Chippa CITY INTL. SCHOOL-WANAWORIE CITY IN

PM Modi is trying his best to vanish black money. I hope his moves would work & will work.Best of Luck PM in your goal.

Kavya Lilhare PRESIDIUM SCHOOL INDIRAPURAM

Assuring 100% vanish of black money is a bit difficult but, the government has already collected so much black money that you can''t call demonetization a failure. BTW, Darshil Shah, you had a wonderful question.

Aayushi Patney BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

you must be the change you want to see in the world so people should support our PM to eradicate BLACK MONEY..

Harshta Bhatti STEPPING STONES CHD-SEC-37

Yes, demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 has done wonders to bring out black money from corrupted houses and served the nation well, but out there things for a poor man or a person from a mediocre family are very complicated and difficult. People are not easily getting the new currency and facing troubles a lot.So, this move is helpful for some extent only.

C.Elakshme devi Amalorpavam Higher Secondary School - Puducherry

If peoples who have black money ,their mind and hearts are true and faithful surely black money will vanish

Prakash.B Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

yeah of course i think that the policy brought by "Namo" will help to eradicate the black money.... It can help to reduce the black money by atleast 20-30%.....

Ishika New era

Supporting someone for the own well being is definitely not a bad take. If the citizens of our country wake up and take stringent measures towards this. I think we as a whole can say a good bye to black money . If we follow a saying whuch states "UNITED WE STAND AND UNITED WE WILL" . No power in this country can break us and depart us from curbing black money.
