Ayushi: What Went Wrong With RCB This Year?

We termed this IPL team as 'star-studded', don't we? And why that term? T20 specialists, eh? Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers (Mr 360), Chris Gayle (Universe Boss). What else would a team need? The best players together. After that heart wrenching loss in the Final in 2016 against SRH, we expected RCB to lift the trophy this year. Nah. They couldn't live up to our expectations unfortunately. One happy moment for the team would be Chris Gayle crossing 10,000 T20 runs, I suppose. Virat Kohli had a shoulder injury. As a result he arrived late. AB de Villiers too had a back injury. One of the major setbacks was KL Rahul missing out on the league due to a serious injury. Don't forget. The Royal Challengers Bangalore got all out on 49 against KKR! Their plans seemed to have collapsed terribly. So, dear friends, what is the cause for the way RCB have underperformed this season? Flop batting. Half-hearted contributions by the teammates. Or is it just a bad season for them? Admit it. Every team does have one dismal year. Your views?

Virat Kohli had recently suffered a shoulder injury and because of that he missed the first third games of the IPL. AB De Villiers also suffered a back injury and because of that he missed a few games of the IPL. KL Rahul is undergoing an operation as he had suffered a shoulder injury in Ind-Aus series. The loss of Sarfaraz Khan is also a major point for RCB''s form this year. RCB will bounce back pretty hard as they do not want to disappoint their fans. Win or lose, RCB for life. #Playbold.

it seriously is a surprising thing...it could be any reason...perhaps, even match-fixing. Agreed that just 2 years back CSK and RR were banned but there is a possibility. Plus, it is surprising that they won the last match against Delhi after a string of losses! It''s weird that RCB lost both matches to RPS but won the most recent match against DD while RPS lost to DD recently. (Sorry die-hard RCB fans but its a possibility. Nevertheless, I''m sure they will bounce back.

seriously nobody can play too bad like RCB lost against i guess KKR with just 49 runs and so i think it is a match fixing because nobody and especially RCB can play such bad ...and that too virat😐 and AB de villers 🤔had missed matches😣

You are absolutely right, Aishwarya.

Sports is full of winning and losing. When the players are in form, they make records but sometimes the team loses form. this is when all of their fans begin to lose hope. I think it is just the matter of timing and luck.i am sure we will soon see the awesome rcb performance very soon!

Winning and losing are a part of our life. One year bad the other good . It doesn''t matter if RCB couldn''t play this year to its fans satisfaction. Life hasn''t ended for them has it? They''ll just come up with better practice next year.
