Asks Saumya Is It Time To Fasten Conservation Effort?

While earth is home to millions of species, it is us who dominate it. Such has been the impact that our own inventions and acitvities are the leading cause of every global problem that we face. We are gradually moving towards 10 Billion population. I think we can call it an unprecedented planetary emergency situation. We urgently need to consume less and we need to conserve more.

The only solution left for us is to change our behaviour, radically and globally, on every level. If our global rate of reproduction continues, we wouldn't have anything left for us.

The current environmental conservation effort is going too slow to save our planet from the catastrophe ahead. Humans must be more conserving, should be aware that having less babies is better for humanity, and develop more renewable sources of energy which save us from consumption of fossil fuels, which are currently accelerating global warming and choking us by polluting the air.

The globe is in dire need of a rescue. Akin to your thoughts, I believe conservation is the only beneficial step that we can think of. The mankind is blind towards the serious threats which are haunting every where. Are we are procrastinating implementation of conservation measures for the day when we see the end of the planet?

Good point saumya. But only self realisation can help. Until everyone realizes that they are a part of this pollution and everyone are at loss by this nothing will change

JogamNithya GITANJALI DEVASHALA, BALAMRAI

As the population on the Earth is increasing day by day, we cannot stop the increase in the rate of reproduction but we can contribute for saving our planet Earth by conserving, planting more trees every day and not waste the natural resources unnecessarily like water, wood, etc. The only solution left is to conserve... LET''S SAVE PLANET EARTH!!

It is true that the population of the world is increasing and the resources are constantly decreasing. The poor and illiterate people give birth to 7 to 8 babies due to which it is sure that the population will increase. There should be a rule in every country that a couple cannot give birth to more than one kid. This is the only way to decrease the population of the country as well as the world.

We,at least at an individual''s level, can be environment-friendly.We always keep saying that nothing will happen if only I do something for the environment. But even an individual''s contribution could mean a lot to the world.Just a few simple steps for the environment is enough. If every individual follows this,we can notice a change in the environment in a few years.

Humans have polluted earth too much. It''s really high time we start conserving our enviornment."We don''t need to conserve enviornment but we need to create an enviornment which doesnot need to be conserved " I really wish we humans become so aware and concerned about enviornment that it does not be conserved. But this cannot be done at once for all, this need our consistent effort

Sachika Lala BGS National Public School

Although conservation efforts are going on today, they are taken up seriously only by a very few people. If these efforts are carried on by a large scale population, then maybe they will show some effect. We should realize that this is our environment and we are supposed to take care of it. It all relies upon we, humans, may they be small kids or old people, whether we want a change or not.

we are waiting for an unknown force to come forth. Truth is that we need to work

Mother Nature is of paramount importance. We need to do something. It''s high-time now!
