Aditya Asks Whether Smartphones Are A Boon Or A Curse?

Now a days,  because of smartphones children are getting affected with problems related to eyes and the brain. On the positive side, these smartphones with their million apps are also helping children in a plethora of ways.

We get ideas, can research on subjects and get valuable information by just a click of our fingers. The smartphone also allows us to be connected with our family at all times. But the positives end here.

The negative side effects are many and they are a huge risk to our welbeing. It is advisable that children should use their smartphones in a limited manner like while refreshing their minds they can play games for 5-10 minutes or can use that time to chat with their friends.

I want to know whether these phones are a necessity, a boon or a curse.

Smartphones are one of the greatest invention in the world, it helps people in many ways. Now phones are not only for calling feature but it have much more. Smartphone effect children in a bad way only when it is used excessively.(escess of everything is wrong) so i waant to conclude that smartphone are boon for us

I think that basically this magical word-"smartphone" was brought into existence to benefit us but we teens, being immature, indulge ourselves into social media and turn out to be preys of distraction. I think smartphones can be a necessity, a boon or a curse too! depending upon how this gadget affects our life. keep asking such good questions! :-)

On one hand, it is said that the smartphones helps children in their homework, to get information on various topics and it also connects us with our family and friends. On the other hand, it says that there are many problems caused by Phones, as children get problems related to eyes and brain So it is a boon if used carefully and curse if used in wrong manner.

smart phone could be boon and also a curse its more than a curse for children because it effects their studys and education the take interest in it more than study''s, parents should not allow them to take their phones .If the allow it should be more maximum 20 minutes

Smartphones are obviously made to pose as a boon to the mankind. They have brought facilities at a fingertips and are paving a way towards a more digitalised world. Despite being a boon, on the the contrary it is turning into an addiction for the youth. It is weakening the eyesight, and thinking capability. So I guess it depends upon the user how he/she uses it.

Phones are expected a boon to mankind but they can be dangerous if we use them beyond a limit. Phones have made our work easy but at the same time, caused danger to health.

Smartphones are a great trend these days. A person can have knowledge on his or her fingertips. It can also be useful for kids under the age of five as they get to learn many new words. On the other hand, overuse of smartphones can be a curse to mankind. It is not always safe and is risky as well.

My experience of not having a smartphone of my own is a curse nowadays. It cannot be called a curse unless its misused. However, addictive properties and advertising strategies of social media platforms compel us to make bad habits. I feel teens should not given a phone too soon ( and not too late either) as we get addicted towards certain apps just because they are trending.

these phones are a boon but the way of utilizing it is bad which makes it a curse....

Although smartphones are useful for us in many ways from information gathering to entertainment but nowdays, we instead of being informative are wasting our time .After realising it ,we cry that how the time flies .This is being the problem of almost everyone these days and so their is need to change ourselves and gearup ourselves for our future than being involved in gossips or chatting which is just a time destroying activity and will lead to nothing.
