Shradha S Nair: How To Start Your Day

Your behaviour throughout your day depends on how you start it. Many people have exciting choices to begin the day with. I am sharing some of my favourite ones. Early in the morning, stand in the balcony with your arms stretched out wide and say these magical words, ‘No matter who likes me and who doesn’t, I love myself and I am prepared for the day.” Some people prepare for the day by drinking a cup of coffee or any beverage. Make one for yourself and enjoy it with your memories. Praying early in the morning is one of the best ways to start your day, ensuring a positive attitude the whole day.

ORGANIZE YOUR DAY: This is very important to avoid confusions and stay contended. Divide your personal 24 hours in such a way that you have time for yourself, your most favourite activities along with your daily schedule. You can also design an exclusive ‘’Lounge Sundays’’ where you enjoy the whole day to your heart’s content.

INTERACT WITH EVERYONE YOU MEET: Interaction helps you to develop confidence and makes it easier to face the day. Interact with your parents, family, friends, teachers and even your enemies. Share your ideas, thoughts and feelings with them. This helps you to develop a friendly atmosphere around you which keeps you merry all day.

DO AT LEAST ONE CREATIVE THING A DAY: Science says this can make you joyful, contended and stress free. Create a difference and inspire others. Being creative can be the most exciting thing in the world.

EATING CHOCOLATE IN THE MORNING: Science says this can maintain a constant anxiety level throughout the day. It will make you feel happy and contended as the brain releases enzymes such as serotonin, endorphin etc, that can decrease your stress levels. Kids, science is on your side.

KEEP SMILING: Smile is the most inexpensive yet precious possession we can ever have. Keep smiling and make your day an exhilarating one.
