Neha: Don’t Let Peer Pressure Put You In Identity Crisis

Why to destroy our self because of pressure from our peers? We are perfect just the way we are. Inner beauty is the best ornament, which one wears. Why couldn't we accept by their nature and intelligence?

We are living between many sweet tonged people hence, it is difficult to know that who is playing with us, who is praying with us. Peer pressure will drag you to the hell. Now days, many children are falling in depression, just because they are forced to think that they are the worst.

Our lives are a beautiful gift with lots of twists. We cannot destroy one's life because of some negative vibes. Life is like a roller coaster ride, there are ups and downs which makes you scared, makes you want to quit but you have to fight your battle till the end.

We must have enough confidence to make the world realise that we are the best. Peer pressure can be ignored by our high self-esteem and self-confidence. Our inner strength should be strong enough, so that no one could even think of breaking it.

In the end, I will just say that peers should not be our weakness, it should be our strength to become stronger and stronger. So, believe in yourself and live your life just the way you want.

I do agree with the author that peer pressure leads to such issues. But I would also like to highlight the fact that just like every coin has 2 sides similarly peer pressure too has an optimistic side. It is also about strengthening eachother in a competitive and healthy environment. It also encourages us to push our limits and perform well even outside our comfort zone. All in all I agree when the author says that it depends on us to not to let it get to us.
