Believe in Yourself, Says Prathamesh

Youngsters of this generation are more keen to imitate famous personalities with a blend of their own signature style. Be it their hairstyle, dress code or skills, they want to copy everything! I think these youngsters are drastically losing self-belief by copying their way in life.

If you want to imitate famous personalities, imitate their hardwork, determination and spirit. We should achieve Success in such a way that we become an example to others. Imitating others just kills the innovation in you.

Yes we must always be ourselves! We must only follow others examples..not copy them! Everyone has a different life! We cannot make the most out of life if we try to imitate someone else! You have spoken very truly!

Oindrila Das Oakridge International School, Einstein Campus

It is always right that being yourselves is just great. We cannot change anyone if the are not like others. It is our responsibility to nurture their skills. I totally agree with your article. Its great!!!!

Well said Prathamesh! When we copy others we lose our own identity. I think we should not copy their determination and all that stuff. But we''ve to learn it from them and apply. Both may seem same but they have some differences!

Yes!I am getting your point!

Yes ! We should be ourself because an original is worth more than a copy. Nice article..

Vishnupriya Saji Army Public School, PRTC

I do completely agree with this point because today most of the youngsters are much into copying others lifestyle, which is equal to killing their own life. They are much interested in what others do , what others think and what they say. They are inturn spoiling their own creativity and effective thinking ability.

Eshwari Dhumma Gopi Birla Memorial School - Walkeshwar

Yes, always believe in yourself. Self confidence is very important in our lives. Create your own identity and make yourself known to people for being you and not someone else. Imitate their hardwork and spirit not their style.

Absolutely today''s generation wants to copy famous people. May be because they want quick success, but well, we know just copying cannot give fame. Rather, I should say it''s better to stay mediocre rather than copying. People''s problem is that they don''t want to copy the hard work and never dying spirit. Take the inspiration, but never copy.

We are unique and we are the one and onely person in this beautiful world.God created us unique to be unique and not to copy oters.yes ,of course learning some good qualities may be appreciated .

Individuality is something no one should lose but build up alongside personality as time goes on. Just as you say, even I would agree, that rather than the superficial traits, if people can follow their good traits (humility, kindness, benevolence etc) then it would benefit them on a much larger scale and they would undoubtedly be happier about that!

we are born original and we must always be our selves.Every human being has his/her own born identity and style. Imitating someone stops us to showcase are born style.

We should not copy others, because we will forget our personality.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

Yes I do agree with him. Originality is the key element of success. By being a copy-cat, one can''t achieve anything in life. And I just loved what Prathamesh has said that the determination, dedication should be copied so that one can work equally hard in life.

That is very well put, Prathamesh. However, I think copying their ''idols'' is not something that will lead some people to lose their originality, it is a fad that passes by for them. At one point there is a Rubik''s cube craze and the next moment there is , for example, a ''Messi hairstyle'' craze. But in all of this, what you said is true that we miss out on learning lessons and positive traits from the life-stories of these personalities, in all the frill, fashion and trend.
