How To Check Processor, RAM

Thanks to the rapid strides made in computing technology, modern day computers are immensely powerful both in terms of hardware and software. If we specifically talk about the hardware, today's PCs come with multi-core processors, plenty of RAM, and have hard disk capacities measuring in terabytes. Now, majority of us already know the basic hardware specifications (e.g. processor model, amount of RAM) of our PCs. But what if you're the curious type and want detailed information about the hardware that makes up your computer? Not a problem, as Speccy can help you with that.
It's useful little utility that can provide detailed information regarding pretty much all hardware aspects of a PC.
This includes CPU core count and architecture, installed RAM with speed, graphics chipset, connected peripherals, real-time network speed, and more. Not just that, Speccy can also reveal key details about the OS installed on the computer like installation date, serial key, battery charge, list of processes, and system folders.

Speccy is a lightweight application, and doesn't need any extra configuration or setup to get working. All you have to do is run the software (preferably with administrator level elevation), and wait a second or two as it scans the PC's hardware and software details.

Once the scan is complete, Speccy will display a comprehensive listing of the computer's hardware. The information is divided into categories like CPU, RAM, Motherboard etc., which can be accessed from the left column. You can even save the information to a text file for later reference.

Speccy is not just useful for knowing comprehensive details about a PC's hardware, it can also be used to verify whether you've actually gotten the hardware that you paid for while buying the PC or not.
