Get Flawless Smile Through These DIYs

Well, there's a reason we say that a woman looks her prettiest self when she's wearing the brightest smile. But besides a pretty smile, it's also important to pay attention to your oral health. So, there's no reason to not try anything that will help you attain the most perfect smile, right? These DIY recipes will come in super handy so give them a try and see how well they work.

Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda paste

We've all heard of this recipe at least once because this one is an age-old tradition by now. All you have to do is combine about two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide with one tablespoon of baking soda. Stir this into a paste and then brush your teeth with it. Once done, let it sit on your teeth for about a minute and then wash your mouth. You'll start noticing results in no time.

Strawberry paste

Since strawberries contain malic acid, they happen to be great in removing coffee, red wine, and tea stains from teeth. Crush one strawberry and add some baking soda to it. Mix the two well to form a paste and then brush gently with the paste. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and then brush with toothpaste to get rid of any residue. Gargle your mouth normally afterwards.

Coconut oil paste

Take a bowl and add two tablespoons of coconut oil, two tablespoons of baking soda and 10 drops of peppermint oil. Mix all of these well to create a paste. Use a soft brush to apply the paste onto your teeth. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then brush your teeth as you normally would, gargle and rinse.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial properties which can help whiten your teeth while getting rid of any bacteria. However, you must never use it on its own as it can corrode your enamel. What you can do instead is to dilute it with water and swish it around your mouth for a few minutes to use it as a mouthwash. Rinse your mouth with plain water once you're done.
