Sreya Bheemesh: An Angel In My Life...

When the wind blows across my face,

distant memories of an angel touching my face

Faded images of how beautiful she was,

of how how her eyes gleamed with love!

Of how drops of tears, rolled down her cheek like pearls

and how I played, with her long brown curls.

And how looking at her,

gave me a sense of comfort I giggled and cuddled,

and laughed with mirth.

As I opened my eyes, I could see several mundies

I could breathe the Earthly air and fell someone's hair.

And suddenly as I turned to my side, I saw the angel!

With the same, same eyes, smile and comfort!

As I grew, I learnt the angel's name to be mother....

Heart touching poem, Sreya. You have depicted and described a mother very beautifully. She is the one who can never laugh at our mistakes and will always be on our side through thick and thin. She is irreplaceable in our life and makes our realise what is our importance in her life. In short, she is everything.
