Punya Poem On 'A Pupil's Perspective'

No doubt school is a temple of learning

For children it’s a journey worth exploring

A place where clever minds have pranks to play

But horrid subjects make them fray

History, Maths, Geography and Science

Never get past their mind

Bunking in Maths, sleeping in SST becomes a reminiscence

Certainly ride though is not smooth enough

For plethora of competitions are yet to come

Along comes the jealousy factor when friends become your strong competitors

Vacations are always long awaited

Surely no one wants friends to get isolated

Summer camps are pain in the neck

School projects surely give a headache

Attempting exams with tension in mind

The last minute answers still to find

With every parent desiring good result

It’s a huge pressure on all of us

Then comes the PTM which children never want to attend

Teacher scoldings are too hard along with a horrendous report card

To top it there’s no antivirus as a safeguard

How I feel this never ends a rainbow of Fun, Frolic with our Friends!!
