Chhavi Rana's Poem 'Mother Nature'

On the hills,

Away from the city shrills.

In my mother nature's lap,

With brother mountains wearing their icy caps.

Away I go from the fake me,

Just letting my soul free.

Out from the land of lies, here, amid greenery, my heart flies.

Far away from the cruel throng,

Mother Nature sings her own songs.

Amid these lakes, my happiness thrives,

hearing the buzzing from beehives.

I lay alone, yet not lonely,

I face my future boldly.

My mother here nurtures me, here,

I know the very me.

Within my Mother's lap I am so glad,

I feel that it's my own land,

MY HOMELAND!!
