Adrija De Poem 'The Night Sky'

Glancing at the twinkling stars of uncountable sums,

I recollected the fresh, little periwinkle blossoms.

It's simple to pluck those tender flowers whereas,

It's difficult to touch those stars made of gas.

Above the dark background of night sky,

The moon too joined hands with the passers-by.

Though the sun had set long ago amidst the hills,

It gave its light to the moon to adorn the sky still.

And suddenly I saw a bright flash of light,

Wow! It's a shooting star- a wonderful sight.

But I repented for not having asked for a wish,

About my ardent desire to become an astronaut and flourish.

Few understand the beauty of the night sky,

Instead at Nature's grace everyone sighs.

I stood unaccompanied in this forlorn point

With the night sky as the only adherent.
