Microsoft just launched the Xbox One S, the company's smallest Xbox yet. Incidentally, the all-new Xbox One S is not a successor to Xbox One but an 'update' to the original version.

Here's all that the new Xbox One S boasts of versus the original Xbox One.

1. 40% smaller

The new Xbox One S is 40% smaller and sleeker than the current Xbox One. It can be also placed upright, thanks to a vertical stand.

2. Better pricing

The 500GB variant of Xbox One S will be priced at $299 in the US, much lower than the Xbox One which is priced at $279.

3. More storage

Xbox One S will have multiple storage variants, and will come with storage capacities of up to 2TB.

4. Integrated IR Blaster

Microsoft has integrated an IR Blaster into the Xbox One S which will allow the users to access their TVs and other remotely accessible devices.

5. Integrated power supply

This essentially removes the power brick that the Xbox One comes with.

6. 4K and HDR support

The Xbox One S will support 4K videos and Blu-ray as well as HDR, but this is only for videos and not game titles.

7. Controller upgrade

Xbox One S comes with upgraded controller that boasts of a higher range and features a textured grip. It also supports Bluetooth (other than WiFi Direct), which means users can use the controller with any device that supports Bluetooth, including their phones, laptops and PCs.

I think this is great, but they should increase the games they produce for Xbox one. For now, there are more games of Xbox 360 than Xbox One.
