Happiness Programme For Teachers
Teachers perform various asanas and actively participate in the yoga session

Stress is inevitable. Papers will stack up, students will act out, and lessons will need to be planned. But taking a short break during the day and enjoying yoga can help teachers reduce their anxiety level and energise them to further interact with students.
Yoga is the ultimate fusion of science and spirituality that helps teachers explore their ability to control their responses to stressful situations, St. Joseph's Convent School, Wagholi organised a 'Happiness workshop' for their teachers before the commencement of the new term after Diwali vacations.
Teachers who practised yoga during the session said, "The yoga session gave us an outlet from the daily stress. 'Laughing yoga or tantrum yoga' helped us release our stress and physical discomfort. Meditation helped us keep our body and mind calm".
The main aim of the management, founder president Sumerchand Agarwal, directors- Ravikumar Agarwal, Komal Agarwal and principal Asmita Janrao was to encourage teachers to build a positive personality and a confident approach to handle situations in a better manner without being stressed.
The entire staff along with the non-teaching staff enjoyed the yoga session that was held for them. They were all rejuvenated with the fun-filled activity and expressed their desire to have more such activities in the near future.
The laughter session proved to be very fruitful as it helped everyone lighten up and go back to their childhood days of having fun and joy.
