PeeCee Is Goodwill Ambassador

Now that the year is about to end, looks like Priyanka Chopra's list of achievements for 2016 is only expanding more and more. Trust PC to surprise you with yet another news that can fill you up with pride that she belongs to India. After her big debut in the west with Quantico and Baywatch lined up for release, PC has been announced as the UNICEF Global Goodwill Ambassador to promote child rights last evening.

After working with UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador on a national level for the last 10 years, PC's association has now gone global!

PC was present at UNICEF's 70th-anniversary event at United Nations Headquarters in New York last evening where she was seen chilling with footballer David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, Jackie Chan and Millie Bobby Brown.

She was inducted into the position yesterday by fellow Goodwill Ambassador David Beckham on the occasion of the UNICEF’s 70th anniversary.

In her acceptance speech, PC said, “My involvement with UNICEF ten years ago in India. Today I stand here humbled enriched, committed because of that exact experience. I want to thank the India team who has worked tirelessly with me for 10 years now for the amazing journey so far. And I want to thank the UNICEF for giving me this opportunity to extend the work that I can do.”

PC is a Goodwill Ambassador on a national level for the last 10 years.Oh my god ! I didn''t know about it.I didn''t ever hear her of speaking about child rights.Maybe as she was busy in Bollywood but now she has even started working in Hollywood.I wish she does it and we don''t and can''t say whether she is the Right Choice or not.So let us wish her all the best.Hope she makes India proud.

It gives me immense proud to see my idol in such a position. She is surely making India proud and will also do so in the near future. The fact that she has been indulged in such a noble cause since the past decade has been unknown to the masses. We must proliferate this message and take inspiration from her.
