Inside The Sets Of Padmavati

When it comes to making larger than life cinema, we have full faith in Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Whether it's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam or Bajirao Mastani, the way he takes care of every single detail in his films is commendable. He makes each and every frame look believable and alluring.

He has already begun his next project Padmavati that will star Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer Singh. The shooting has already kicked off in Rajasthan. As part of his first sequence for the film, SLB has recreated the inside of the Chittorgarh fort for the royal Ghoomar song. A Bollywoodlife report claimed that 40 days were invested for the entire set to erect and over a hundred people involved in the setup.

In addition to that, Rajasthani paintings have been used as part of the wall design and 400 diyas have been used to light the set. Chari dancers (authentic fire dancers) from Kishangarh and Terahtaali musicians from Jaipur have been roped in for the song.

Deepika Padukone, who believes in pure hard work, had slogged really hard for Bajirao Mastani and she took over a month-and-a-half to learn this dance form  in order to get her footwork right for the Ghoomar number.

A source close to the film said, “Ghoomar will be the first song SLB shoots for the film, and everything from the visuals, to the sound, to the sets is being carefully planned and put together. It will be a complete royal experience and the final look will leave people spellbound.”

His period films are commendable. I have fallen in love with them and if he casts Deepika and Ranveer then the film comes out more beautifully because the actors put in their hundred percent for the movie and get totally involved in the character.
