I have a role model, do you?

Sometimes I wonder if it is a role model that the new generation needs? The role models I had and the ones I still have start with my sweet grandmother, my loving mother, my strong dad and a teacher who is now my colleague. My grandmother left me the lessons of patience, my mother taught me to be kind, my dad said ‘never give up’ and my friend boosted my courage and confidence. Today, I am happy for being responsible for my life and I have the credence to stand in front of you my new gen pupils. I live my life and see people living it, sometimes coherent and influential, sometimes muddled and insignificant.     The new generation yes, the one that seems to be the trendiest and outgoing is moving ahead faster with the help of talent and technology. It is the need of today that we grow and stretch our arms to reach the foremost. I do appreciate the new generation for becoming prompt and daring. Your limitless friendship keeps you busy round the clock when your days begin and end with facebook and Whatsapp.  When the data plans are unlimited and the storage capacity crosses the line, life has made its compatibility with notepads and iphones. But where is that passion for a life-long relationship, a close family extending support on your hardships. Grandmothers have become as old as fairy tales and most mothers find rescue in parties, outings and  gossiping  with friends. While fathers are moving to find a better work — life balance, the children are with their twitter friends and sharing Tik Tok fun.  I love parties as you do and get into a venture with my soulmate on a bike exploring the gift of nature. Drenching in the rain and moving along the mystique beauty, I have learnt greater lessons of humanity. And I take with me as my pride, the knowledge that I gained from my precious kind. As you are moving faster, the veteran steps may not reach with yours, but it is possible to take them if you can extend your strong and supportive hands. Let's keep going without compromising on our personality and values because while our   personality takes us higher, our values keep us brighter.
