Have Faith Score High On Empathy Quotient
Vandana Joshi, Principal, Vidya Pratishthan''s Nanded City Public School, Pune

Since humans have evolved, we went on inventing and discovering things that helped us in making our lives easy. And so the IQ gained more importance, as it was needed for our development.
We started from discovering the science of germination to invention of wheels and today we talk about artificial intelligence. All this has made our life physically very easy, however we are mentally not at ease and the reason for that is, for developing our IQ we misinterpreted EQ we took 'E' of EQ as EGO and that took us from satisfying our needs to satisfying our lust for more and more and more. History has witnessed two destructive world wars; still we haven't learnt lessons and given birth to new demons like "Terrorism", climate change and many more.
Now is the time we realise and change the meaning of 'E' in EQ from EGO to Empathy. Children no doubt that we need to develop, we need to progress, you need to work hard to achieve success, keep one thing in mind that while doing so, while developing your IQ do not forget to develop your  positive EQ, respect others, care for them.
Develop Empathy and not Ego. Be spiritual, according to me spirituality is not related to religious rituals, it is the inner peace and solace.
Stop over reacting to situations, as you should control situations, let the situations not control you, delete words like depression and tension from your dictionary. You can find ways to solve any issue you face in life, provided you do things the right way.
Do remember that as god closes one door, he surely keeps at least a window open. Learn to take life at ease. Act as you think. Remember, impossible is nothing, believe in yourself, have faith and give your 100% and look forward to a good, healthy and a peaceful life.
