This Short Story Will 'Shock' You!

It was a pleasant evening.
The sky was turning into a calm pink. The golden-yellow sands of the beach were warm to walk on. The sound of the waves was pleasing to the ear. The mesmerizing sound of the waves almost made me fall asleep. As I slowly sat down on the beach to relax, I noticed something glitter on the sky.

I assumed that it would be a plane as I most frequently have seen many planes glide by. So, I started drifting off to sleep.

But as soon as I lay down, I realized that it was not a plane at all!! It was decorated with a million minute light bulbs that flickered at regular intervals. It was an extra – terrestrial object, I was sure.

Suddenly it struck me! Oh no! It was an UFO.

I was startled by the very sight of the UFO! I wanted to scream for help but alas! There was not a soul to be seen around...! I felt that it was only a matter of time before these horrible aliens gobbled up our beautiful planet. I watched in horror as the UFO landed a few meters away from me.

I knew that there was no escape.

I frantically tried to run but my legs failed to support me anymore. As I stood rooted to the spot, the door of the UFO opened slowly. I was astounded! How could this be! This could not be true at all...

Out came an alien asking for a selfie!!!
