Benefits Of Having A Book Loving BFF

In the book world, a friend with benefits primarily means having a friend who has a library and who is happy to lend books to you.
Okay, maybe they should also be able to make some really good tea and have a comfortable reading chair that you could plonk yourself in, each time you visit. That's it, simple things. If you love reading books, we bet the benefits of a book loving BFF wouldn't have escaped your mind. Just to recap, here's how your book BFF makes your life super easy.

1. You have the two go-to libraries. Everything you don't have, your book-loving BFF does. So you save on space and also get to read loads.

2. If you can't sleep at 4AM because your favourite book character just died, you know you can always call him/her. They'll totally get it, and although its 4AM they will definitely be up reading a book too.

3. You have zero pressure to do fun things when you meet them. All you need is two good books, two cups of tea, and a comfortable spot around the house.

4. You don't have to apologise to them for cancelling at the last minute, because you'd rather read. They totally get it.

5. If you are holidaying with them, you don't need to apologise for not clicking selfies and reading a book instead. Losing yourselves to a book by the beach was the ideal plan anyway.

6. You'll never run out of conversations. Everything - from new books, to old book characters to people who don't return books - you'll always have a lot to discuss.

7. Speaking of people who don't return books, you will end up hating the same list of people who bookmark pages and, with their opinion in tow, you'll have a better list of "People who should never get near your books."

8. "Let's go buy stuff for the bookshelf?" You can finally text this to a real person without being judged.

9. Every shopping trip you take will end up in a library... what more do you need.

10. You finally have a friend whom you can lend books to without breaking your heart. Because they'd know how precious your babies are, and will take really good care of them.

Do you agree? Tell us about your favourite thing to do with your BFF.

I think that I''d rather not agree because good books themselves become our BFF. Besides a person who is exactly like you is hard to find in the world so we can just talk to ourselves. Not aloud, but maybe in the form of a diary.

I think it would awesome to spend time with someone who is geeky about books like you...i always looked for a person to share my views after finishing a book.

I think this could get a little boring-reading books even on trips, talking only about books everytime. There should be fun a little break and anything in excess is bad

A book lover BFF is sure a good thing. Indeed, I have my best friend who is a reader just like me. We exchange books, have our own reviews, go to fairs together. It''s like having two friends at the same time-one human, and the other the book.

There are so many advantages of having a book loving BFF as we can borrow the books that we want from him/her. We can share what we learnt from the book, when are next going book shopping so that we can take him/her along with us. Half of my friends are book lovers so I get to read a lot of new and interesting books and novels!! Books Rock!! Bookworms Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn`t agree cause if you want to read to gether there is no use of being together. We get lost in books and don`t have time to speak also. books become our BFF`s even if we don`t want. We even don`t get time to talk to ourselves

Kalindi amit khanzode D.A.V Public School, Thane

and also reading books on trips find boring cause we have to explore the place and don`t have time
